Engineers, researchers, teachers, practitioners, government officials and other professionals are invited to submit papers related to the conference theme as well as other applications of vetiver system. Submitting well-documented case studies and experiences in applying Vetiver System in the practice of sustainable soil and water development is highly encouraged.

Within the scope of ICV-7, a free-of-charge international vetiver handicraft training course will be held on 26 – 28 October 2020, all day, at the Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand. The training course is opened to all of those who work in the handcraft industry or simply interested in using vetiver leaves in handicraft-making and applying this initiative in their countries.
A one-day field trip will be organized on 29 October 2020 to enable the participants to visit the vetiver utilization and plantation in Chiang Mai. The Office of the Royal Development Projects Board and the Chaipattana Foundation will support all expenses during the field trip (transportation and meals).
